How To Save Gas Cost By Running Your Car or Truck On Water by Ozzie Freedom

This article looks at the claims of running your car on 100% water and tells you if it's really possible or not.

When you look closely at such 100% water driven technology, one ends up spending even more than using the usual fuel for powering vehicles.

So, the method I recommend for powering your car with water that will save you cost of fuel is to make your own low-cost hybrid car that will run on water and gas, thereby saving you huge costs you would have spent using only gas.

In other words - Hydrogen-On-Demand system where you run your car on Hydrogen WHEN you need it!

Note that I am not saying you should build a car from scratch that will run on water. Not at all. This instead is about constructing simple devices that will enable your car to run on water as well as gas. You don't have to alter your car make-up or get a new car. The technology can work with almost any car or truck.

In simple words, this technology involves putting together home-made devices that use a little electricity out of your car's battery to separate water into a gas called HHO (2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen). HHO, also known as Brown's Gas or Hydroxy, burns beautifully and by so doing provides TONS of energy.

And the most remarkable beauty is that this pound for pound HHO gas is even much more potent than gasoline. In fact 3 times more potent than gasoline.

By using such cars you effectively save money that would have been spent on fuel for your car. It is estimated that this could save you as much as $897.40 per year. If you are two, three or four drivers in the family, this yearly savings increases dramatically. And what if you have a fleet of 50 drivers in your company? Then your yearly savings will multiply to $44,870.

First things first... this isn't about running your car on 100% water. Of course there are information available about running your car on 100% water but I don't recommend them because they are not only complicated but seriously expensive and completely unpredictable.

7 Tips On Saving Fuel by Boon Kiat Chua

Oil price is soaring and it certainly looks like it will not be staying at a constant price for long. I remembered last year around June, the price per litre of Shell 98 was around $1.70 SGD and just recently when I was refilling fuel. It costs about $2.12 SGD per litre; an increase of almost $0.40 SGD per litre. Not to mention that the price is still rising. There are a few alternatives that we can do.

1. To stop driving - for those who have been driving, you will be saying it's crazy! Cars are just like your legs; they carries you around places. However, what we can do is to try walking, cycling or hopping on a bus for short trips.

2. To change to hybrid car - this is one viable option where you can adopt and yet some were saying that it takes much more fuel to produce a hybrid car.

3. To change the way we drive - this is possibly the immediate option that we can adopt. By changing your driving habits you can improve fuel economy and there are many tips which you can use to start saving dollars and not pennies. Changing your habits and you'll see a substantial savings at the pump -- without the need for a new car.

Let us look at ways on how we can change our driving habits as well as tips on how we can save fuel. These tips not only help you to save fuel, but also help you to contribute your bit towards saving our planet.

Keep Your Tires Properly Inflated

Keeping the tires at the right pressure not only increase your safety while driving, it also promotes fuel efficiency. The PSI number at the side of your tires shows the maximum pressure of the tire and is not the proper inflation level for your car. Your vehicle manufacturer will list the recommended tire pressure in your owner's manual or a sticker on the doorjamb of the driver-side door. You will notice that if your tires are underinflated, you will experience the extra drag on your car and this translates to more fuel usage.

Follow the Recommended Maintenance

It is important to follow your car manufacturer's servicing recommendations. A vehicle that is well maintained means it will operate with greater efficiency. This not only improves your overall vehicle performance, but it will improve your fuel economy as well. Proper maintenance also means using the right octane gas and the recommended grade of motor oil. A fuel with a higher and inappropriate octane rating does not translate to more power. Using the recommended types for your vehicle will give you optimum fuel economy -- and can translate to more saving for you.

Avoid carrying excess weight

Heavier vehicles require more energy to move, so carrying around excess weight will also affect your mileage. Keeping your boot or back seat clear of unnecessary items can reduce weight to your vehicle and increase fuel efficiency.

Drive smoothly

Aggressive driving can use as much as a third more fuel, so avoid accelerating or braking too hard and keep steering smoothly. The fewer heavy brakings and flooring of the accelerator, the more fuel you save. It is important to plan your trip and to avoid the rush when driving. Always give yourself extra time to get to your destination and drive in a "steady and smooth" manner. This not only gets you safely to your destination, it also helps you to save fuel.

Use the Highest Gear Possible

Changing to a higher gear to match the speed of the car is the way to go. Lowest gear yields greatest power but translates to an increase in fuel consumption. To improve your fuel economy, drive in the highest gear possible when you are cruising at a steady speed, such as on the highway.

Use Cruise Control

Using cruise control can improve your gas mileage by helping you maintain a steady speed, but only if you are driving on mostly flat roads. However, if you are in hilly terrain, you should turn off cruise. It will try to keep you up to the speed you've set and will use a lot of extra gas downshifting to lower gears to accomplish this.

Avoid excess idling

When a car is idling, it is using fuel. Turning the engine off during idle periods can help you avoid burning excess fuel. If you are waiting for your kid outside the school or waiting to pick up someone, it is more efficient to turn the engine off while you wait and then restart the car. You will save fuel.

With these tips, you will not only drastically improve your fuel efficiency and saving money but also doing your bit for our planet.

Whats the big deal about Hybrid Cars? by Steven Longoria

As we all become more environmentally conscious, efforts are being made worldwide to reduce the pollution caused by the cars you drive, the trucks that deliver the goods to your favorite stores, your kids' school buses.

You've probably seen newspaper articles and TV news reports on hybrid cars. But what exactly are hybrid cars?

Hybrid electric vehicles combine smaller gas engines with electric motors powered by a battery system that charges as the gas engine operates. This powertrain combination provides significantly improved gas mileage as well as dramatically reduced CO2 emissions. In these days of $3 gas and global warming, that's no small improvement.

If you regularly drive in an urban area, hybrid vehicles are particularly cost-effective as you can drive almost completely on electric power, which obviously saves gas dollars as well as the environment. This is the exact opposite of traditional gas cars that tend to get better mileage on the highway than driving in more stop-and-go city traffic. Take into consideration the type of driving you most frequently do when considering a hybrid.

Interestingly, when a hybrid car is running on electric power, particularly at low speeds such as in the city, they are practically silent, reducing noise pollution as well as air pollution. This means drivers of hybrids have to be more careful as pedestrians have a hard time hearing them coming...and being a more attentive driver is a positive thing.

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that not all hybrids are created equal. For example, should you need a larger family vehicle, such as an SUV, a hybrid SUV very likely will not be as fuel efficient as a standard SUV. While this will surely change in the future, don't be fooled into thinking that just any hybrid is going to be better.

In addition, hybrid cars are definitely more expensive than "regular" vehicles. While the savings in gas mileage will help offset the higher purchase price, particularly if gas prices remain high, if you are thinking about buying a hybrid simply to "save money" you might find yourself unpleasantly surprised if the car does not meet your other needs.

On the other hand, if your major concern is the environment, the extra cost of a hybrid vehicle can be well worth it.

Alternative Fuel Vehicles To The Rescue? by Steven Longoria

You've probably been hearing a lot lately about alternative fuel vehicles as concerns about global warming as well as the price of oil and gas sweeps the nation.

What you may not know is what alternative fuels - and the alternative fuel cars that use them - really mean.

Currently the fuel used in most cars and trucks - gasoline and diesel - is based on oil (petroleum). Since the oil from which gas and diesel are refined primarily comes from non-Western countries, unfortunately that means the US, Europe, and many other countries are vulnerable to forces outside their control, forces that currently include the war in Iraq, internal conflicts in Nigeria, and the latest political showdown in Venezuela.

Oil is also a major pollutant, meaning that vehicles that burn petroleum-based products add to global warming. Plus oil is what is called a non-renewable energy source. Once these fossil fuels have been used, they can't be replaced, so we will actually run out of oil someday.

All this obviously means that finding alternative fuels - particularly ones that are more "earth friendly" - and developing alternative fuel vehicles is in everyone's best interests.

Currently the most common alternative fuels for vehicles are ethanol, bio-diesel, and electric. In fact, you may even be driving a type of Flexible-Fuel Vehicle and you don't even know it. There are even hydrogen cars, but they currently cost millions of dollars so are out of range of most people's pocketbooks! Steam-powed and solar-powered alternative fuel cars also are being developed.

Hybrid cars, such as the Toyota Prius, run on a combination of gas and electric power. They use gas engines in combination with electric motors, a combination that results in dramatically improved gas mileage as well as significantly reduced CO2 emissions. They are particularly useful driving in town where you can often drive solely on the electric power generated and use no gas at all. They are, however, noticeably more expensive that non-hybrids.

Bio-diesel is another common alternative fuel. Diesel fuel burns far more efficiently than gasoline, leading to better gas mileage. However, diesel is still a petroleum-based fuel. Bio-diesel, on the other hand, is made from vegetable oils, not petroleum oil. And, because it's made from plants, and plants use carbon dioxide for photosynthesis, bio-diesel reduces net carbon emissions by as much as 60%. Most diesel vehicles, including buses, farm vehicles and cars, can also run on bio-diesel.

Ethanol is probably the most commonly used alternative fuel today. Ethanol, as a biofuel, can be made from a wide variety of common natural materials, such as corn, sugarcane, and switchgrass. Most cars today can run on a combination of gasoline and up to 10% ethanol (a combination called E10) with no special equipment. A real downside of bio-fuels is the environmental costs of growing and refining the material used. However research in using algae to make ethanol holds promise.

Alternative fuel vehicles allow us to reduce dependency on foreign oil and reduce pollutants even with the downsides. Is an alternative fuel car right for you? That is the question we must ask ourselves.

Take Care, Steve Longoria

This Is Not Your Father's Auto Body Repair Shop by Amy F. Goodmann

MIt can be said that most of us never would want to see the inside of an auto body repair shop. Often you can often smell the solvents being emitted by automotive body vehicle repair shop as we drive by. You well ponder and think how on earth those people can make it through the work day with all of these volatile and intoxicating fumes? Never mind at having to be so very precise and accurate? After consumers are most demanding when it comes to fixing and repairing their vehicles - new and used. Colors and body form has to be retained in the repairs - whether they are newer SUV's, hummers or passenger cars.

It can be said that few people wake up in the morning routinely planning to visit a collision auto body shop. Most are there only due to their personal misfortunes. Luck of the draw or their driving habits so to speak.

Most shops now bear little relation to the establishments you may remember as a child - dark and dusty surrounded by both piles of used and new car parts as well as a mean guard dog in the yard. There may be a few of those still around but they are a dying breed. Repairing cars now, especially with the electronics in today's vehicles, requires both skill, education and training, sophisticated tools and an ultra clean, modern shop.

Modern body shops now seem to be uniformly clean, well laid out and well lit. As well many body shops are laid out in several distinct separate staging areas. Vehicles are estimated in one area, body work done in another, electronic repairs in yet another area, painted in a very separate area, and finally detailed and presented to the customer in a display area.

If the vehicle has major damage, then it is moved to a disassembly area and onto a frame machine. Unibody construction is utilized by most autos today. Unibody is a an automotive and mechanical body term which describes how sheet metal is stamped, formed and welded together to form the structural portion of the car or truck body. The purpose of the "frame machine" is not to straighten the car frame now - rather it is to straighten the unibody construction of the vehicle.

Measuring the vehicle body for correct unibody alignment is more than critical. As little as one millimeter error is all that is allowed by most car, truck and S.U.V. manufacturers. Laser measuring systems are used by many body shops along with the frame machine to ensure that everything is straightened accurately to the decimal point.

With the unibody of the vehicle straight, the car, truck or S.U.V. moves to the metal work area where new sheet metal is mounted and damages area straightened. This work is still done by skilled technicians and tradesmen using hammers and dollies, but even the work done by body shop technicians has been changed by modern technologies. Overhead vacuum lines are connected to the grinders and sanders to pull dust and dirt away from this part of the shop. Modern body shops can remain very clean and dust free- indeed modern electronics , and even the most modern hi tech electronics of hybrid vehicles demand this.

With the entire metal straight, it's on to the paint preparation area, commonly referred to as "paint prep". Quality shops will use dust extraction systems to remove the dust when sanding and spraying the paint primers. Infrared lighting systems may be used to cure primer paint quickly and properly. These infrared lights can shorten the cure time from 24 hours remarkably to as little as 20 minutes. All of these procedures both help you to get a higher quality assured job and get you back on the road in a minimal time span.

Painting the final colors and clear coats is done in a paint booth. There are many types and brands of paint booths, however it is generally accepted the best are the "downdraft" units where fresh filtered air enters the top of the booth and any under spray is pulled downward and out through grates in the floor. The downdraft procedure of paint booths can produce the best and most consistent of paint finishes. In addition a well trained operator can make a great difference in final paint and appearance quality and consistency. A dust free paint booth of any design is better than a dirty and dusty paint booth of the highest end. Before spending your money or committing yourself to the job or repairs it is always best to ask to examine several examples of the shops work on several vehicles. In addition ask to see finished examples of several different body types - cars, trucks, vans and SUVs. Look for smooth finishes with minimal dust specs and colors that match from panel to panel. These are the signs of a quality paint job done by a skilled and professional painter.

It goes without saying that a professional paint shop will be proud of their faculties- the layout, equipment, training of their staff - and most of all their highly trained and courteous employees.

Such a shop should have no trouble, barring practical logistics, of allowing you a tour of their facilities. Indeed after all of their careful efforts they should be most proud to give you a tour and point out their strong points and capabilities as well as examples of their finished product.

Remember in the end it's your vehicle that is being repaired, not someone else's. You, your spouse or your kids are the ones who are going to be driving that finished product. Your vehicles should not only appear cosmetically correct, but also should be the safest that can possibly be. After all its your family and kids who are driving in your auto , van , truck or S.U.V. .

The Air Car Cometh by GARKO

Here is what makes the folks at Water4Gas, we are so hip, myself included We are not contentious with our competitors in the mold of Coke Vs Pepsi, Burger King Vs McDonalds. We have a mission to help change conditions, freeing people from the yolk of foreign oil and the oil industry, improving the environment and assisting people. Sowhen we do see a technology something else moving forward that holds real promise to be effective then we are happy with any success that they have and we are happy to help get the word out about them, too. Water4Gas is a technology that anyone can utilize to modify their automobile engine from gasoline to a hybrid gas and hydrogen system. It has been proven to work and people get lower fuel consumption, less toxic emissions and a smoother running vehicle. I strongly recommend it.

Here is information about a competing technology and it also seems worthwhile to know about…

The main goal of Air Car is to develop and market an automobile driven by a compressed air engine that performs well enough to respond to the actual needs of today’s market. With this in mind we have drawn up a plan of action for production start up. Plusses of compressed air as an alternative energy source An automobile powered by compressed air presents many plusses when compared to the traditional combustion engine or an electric car.

The idea of using compressed air as an energy vector can, for example, also be applied to a hybrid vehicle, with cylinders operating on compressed air and an additional battery running on electricity, winding up with a vehicle propelled by only electrical-pneumatic propulsion.

Possible advantages of cars powered by compressed air: · Significantly less expensive · Air is abundant, economical, transportable, storable and, most importantly, nonpolluting. · The air compression engine reduces the production costs of vehicles by 20% because it is not necessary to assemble a refrigeration system, a fuel tank, spark plugs or silencers. · Air itself does not explode, an aspect of safety · The mechanical design of the motor is concise and long lasting · There is no battery corrosion. · Less manufacturing and maintenance costs. · The tanks which are part of the compressed air motor have will last longer in comparison with batteries, which, ultimately suffer from a reduction in performance.

In case you are not familiar, yes, safely splitting Hydrogen from water to produce a source of fuel is already a viable solution that is available for us all. Additionally, it is not even a new technology, really; its just recently been made more optimum so that anyone can benefit from it. I mentioned that I would describe more about the Water4Gas system. WATER4GAS is offering information for a nominal fee which folks can use at home to build a small device which instills hydrogen into the fuel/air mixture that their automobile runs on. The process makes bite sized particles out of the ones that the system burns as fuel. Therefore the system is able to use much more of the fuel. By doing this you can reasonably expect to increase your MPG by 30-50% or significantly more. Those particles "musta" been pretty darn huge in some engines before. But with W4G they are made consumable so you can increase your MPG. It also helps make emissions substantially cleaner. This package of info has been purchased by over NINE THOUSAND people already and happy members number about 99%! So how about you?

Easing Into the Green Living Lifestyle by Ivan Cuxeva Jr

As global warming continues to be a major concern for the future of our planet, people are starting to turn to green living practices to help save it for future generations. Green living involves every aspect of our daily lives - from driving to work to mowing our lawns.

Making the switch to green living all at once might scare most people away from implementing those earth-friendly changes. There are many ways to ease into this practice and still help save the earth's environment.

Air pollution is a major problem for some cities. A lot of it comes from the factories, but that's not the only avenue contributing to global warming. Automobiles give off a fair amount of pollutants into the air.

When you have a lot of cars driving around on the city streets, you're multiplying the amounts of pollutants being emitted by each car that's destroying our ozone. If you want to save the environment, you can start by either car pooling, walking more instead of driving or even purchasing hybrid models that don't do as much damage.

This small change can bring much relief for the environment for future generations. There are many ways to adapt green living into your life by taking a look at your home. What kind of bulbs are you using?

The standard bulbs we use only contribute to higher electricity bills and more carbon dioxide. If you switch at least some of your standard bulbs with the compact fluorescent bulbs, you can save the environment while saving on your electric bill.

Make sure to seal any gaps around windows and doors to keep any cold drafts from blowing into the house, which can cost you more money. Make sure the house is well insulated to help cut down on those costs in the wintertime. The less the furnace or heater has to run, the better off everyone will be.

Take a look at your appliances. Are they devouring too much energy? If they're older models, the answer is probably yes. While some of the changes are in the appliances that you use, other ways to go green involve your own habits and actions.

Do you open the oven door several times to check and see if something is done? The harder an appliance has to work, the harder it is on the environment. If you keep opening the oven door, the temperature will drop almost 25 degrees. It will then have to work harder to get back to the original temperature.

Recycling is an excellent way to save our environment. Try to buy as many products as you can that can be recycled. Avoid the non-recyclable items such as Styrofoam cups. The less trash that has to be burned - or buried into our soil - the better off our planet will be.

These small changes may seem like they couldn't help much for the environment, but they can help tremendously. Every little bit we do is a much-needed step toward reserving natural resources for our future generations. Get involved with the environment and start to make a difference in the practice of green living for our earth.!

How To Save Gas Cost By Running Your Car or Truck On Water by Luca Godano

When you look closely at such 100% water driven technology, one ends up spending even more than using the usual fuel for powering vehicles.

What’s With All The Hype About Alternative Powered Vehicles? by GARKO NOVIS

You've most likely been hearing a lot lately about renewable fuel vehicles as anxieties about climate change and the skyrocketing price of oil and gas sweeps the Nation.

What you might not have been told is what alternative fuels - and the modified engine vehicles that are powered by them - really mean.

As of right now the fuel used in most vehicles and trucks - gasoline and diesel - is derived from on oil (petroleum).

Oil is a major pollutant to the environment . And there is not an infinite supply.

All this clearly indicates that locating alternative fuels " particularly ones that are environmentally safe - and developing alternative fuel cars is in everyone's best interests.

In the current market the most common alternative fuels for are ethanol, bio-diesel, and electric. Steam-powered like old fashioned locomotives and solar-powered alternative fuel cars also are on the drawing board. As in the use of hydrogen, the technology for these things already exists but has only recently overcome decades of suppression.

Electric hybrid vehicles, such as the Toyota Prius, operate on a alternative basis of gasoline and electricity. They utilize gas engines in tandem with electric motors. They are particularly useful in city driving where they can often drive entirely on the electric power generated without using a drop of gasoline. Unfortunately it is true that they are majorly more expensive that traditional vehicles and they run out of battey juice every five years or so which requires and expensive replacement.

Bio-diesel is another common alternative fuel. But there have been a number of articles recently exposing how it is not as environmentally friendly as originally believed.

So what works? Water4Gas is the only solution I have found that really makes sense. WATER4GAS is offering information for a nominal fee which folks can use at home to build a small gizmo which infuses hydrogen into the gas/air mixture that their car or truck runs on. How to Save Money on Gasoline by Jason B. Cox

Gas prices are through the roof and they're not likely to stop rising in the near future. With gasoline eating a bigger chunk out of your budget every month, you're probably asking yourself how you can save money on gasoline without shelling out $25,000 for a brand new hybrid vehicle. In this article, we'll show you how to cut down on your gasoline consumption and save money. So, keep reading to learn more.

1. Slow down rather than speed up.

This doesn't mean drive ridiculously slow; you'll actually use more gas that way. Rather, take it easy on the highways and try to keep your car at a comfortable 50-65 miles per hour.

When driving in the city, keep your speeds around the 35-45 mph range whenever possible. Most cars are at their peak mileage potential around this range.

2. Stop downshifting.

If you drive a manual car, don't downshift instead of braking. Downshifting will actually use more gas than braking and it's harder on your clutch and transmission. Remember, it's cheaper to replace your brakes than your whole transmission system.

3. Lighten your load.

Stop driving your car around with a trunk full of tools, golf clubs and the kid's baseball equipment. You'd be amazed how much better mileage a car gets when it's hauling a lighter load. Instead of turning your car into a portable storage space, try storing those items in the garage.

4. Go for a tune-up.

A car that's clean, well-maintained and running at maximum efficiency is going to be a car that gets the best possible mileage. Keeping your car in top condition means you need to be watching your oil level, changing the filters (air, oil, fuel) regularly, going for regular oil changes and staying on top of quarterly visits to the mechanic.

5. Keep your tires properly inflated.

While you shouldn't over-inflate your tires, you should make sure they're inflated to the optimum levels. Deflated tires have a stronger grip on the road, making the car work harder and using up more gas on every mile. Plus it wears out your tires more quickly.

6. Turn off the air conditioning.

Air conditioning is a real gas guzzler, so turn it off unless it's absolutely necessary. Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the season, and utilize your vehicle's vent system until the weather is unbearably hot.

7. Buy groceries where you buy gas.

Some major grocery retailers also have gas pumps on the premise. You'll find these places offer discounts of 5-10 cents on the gallon if you also buy groceries during your visit.

I Run My Car On Water - Build Your Own Water Hybrid by Ben

Have you ever thought about buying a hyrbid vehicle to save money on gas? If you've ever looked into the prices, you'll notice that they're pretty pricey. The funny thing is, these cars really don't get much better gas mileage than my 86 Corolla did over 20 years ago. That sucker got 40 MPG on a regular basis and was a top of the line economy car in the mid 80s.

Yours truly set out for a better solution and found it at DriveWithWaterFuel.com This website offers a guide to convert your gasoline engine into a hybrid that runs on water and gasoline. Yes, I run my car on water. Now you don't just stick water into the gas tank. That would ruin it.

The way this technology works is by using electricity from the car's battery that is run into a small reservoir that lies under the car's hood. The small electrical current separates the water into HHO gas. This gas is then fed into the car's intake and combined with your air/fuel mixture. What this does is create an incredibly efficient burn for your car's combustion system. After about an you have managed to build your own water hybrid.

There are several websites out there that sell similar guides to the guide you will find at DriveWithWaterFuel.com, but this is the one I found that was the cheapest and most thorough.

I still have my 86 Corolla (that thing is a champ). Just for the hell of it I did this conversion to the already 40MPG gas saver and after a few tweaks that are covered in the manual, I kid you not, that car gets 69MPG. It's pretty nice driving 700 miles on one tank of gas.

If you'd like to get that kind of mileage increase out of your vehicle, I would suggest you give this product a look. It's 100% legit, will actually keep your engine cleaner, and is 100% reversible. You have nothing to lose except the space in your wallet where your money will now accumulate!

Is an Electric Car right for you? by Steve Longoria

If you're old enough, you may remember your grandparents talking about electric cars. But the electric powered cars people are talking about nowadays are nothing like those electric vehicles from the early 1900s.

When you hear someone talking about hybrid cars, they are actually talking about a car that runs on a combination of gas and electricity (in technological terms, cars with gasoline-electric powertrains).

The batteries are recharged when the car is running on gas or when braking (using something called regenerative braking, which transfers the energy generated while braking back into the batteries, rather than dissipating it as heat as occurs in regular vehicles). Some hybrids also come with a plug-in-to-recharge option.

When going slowly, such as around town, these hybrid electric vehicles actually run solely on the electricity in their batteries, making for far more fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.

However, in addition to hybrids, there are true "electric cars" - the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). These vehicles also work on electricity but, in this case, the sole power source is electric batteries. There is no other engine.

BEVs are considered zero emission vehicles because they give off no emissions when they run. They are quiet and have many fewer parts than either hybrids or gas-powered cars. Examples of current BEV cars are the Indian REVA and Tesla Roadster.

There are other types of electric powered vehicles as well, including what are called neighborhood electric vehicles. A golf cart is a prime example of a neighborhood electric vehicle, and golf carts are often used as transportation in over-55 communities.

There are, of course, downsides, to electric vehicles. Electric cars go much less far on a "full tank" of electricity than do cars on a tank of gas or other popular alternative fuels, sometimes less than 50 miles on a charge, and finding a place to "fill up" can be hard. While plugging in at night at home is easy, finding a place to plug on your car while away from home may not be. Not only that, but charging the car can take several hours.

In addition, replacing the battery packs for an electric vehicle is much more expensive than buying a new battery for your gasoline-driven car.

On the other hand fuels costs are extremely low as it costs much less to run a car on electricity than gasoline. Electric cars often average the equivalent of 20 miles per gallon and cost about 3 cents a mile to run. Not only that, but you won't be spending money on tuneups, oil changes, new mufflers, and the like when you use an environmentally-friendly electric-powered vehicle.

Increase Gas Mileage Up To 40% - Hho Gas Generators by Mark Petee

You want to know how to get the best gas mileage while driving your car? While our gasoline prices increase daily some parts of Europe and Great Britain pay twice as much for their petrol. You may not be able to go out and buy that latest 20,000 dollar electric hybrid. You need to make sure that you keep up on your vehicles maintenance and should you notice a noticeable miles per gallon decrease you should schedule your vehicles for an engine tune up or engine diagnostics with your automotive mechanic. Most newer vehicles do not require a tune up until you reach 100,000 miles.

You may not even know when your last tune up was performed if you bought a used car or there are no service records. When you buy used cars from a reputable used car lot you will find that in most cases a tune up has already been performed to that vehicle. Used car dealers do not always do this when servicing a vehicle. When in doubt and you are having some engine difficulties or rough idle or performance has decreased then schedule that appointment.

Peak gas mileage will be consistent on your car or truck when your vehicle is taken in for regularly schedule service and maintenance checks including oil changes. An engine diagnostics check often can discover faulty sensors that may have a negative impact on your gas mileage. A perfect example is a faulty oxygen sensor that is replaced can improve gas mileage up to 40%. It pays to have your car or truck regularly serviced and an engine diagnostics performed if a check engine light comes on or you notice a noticeable decrease in gas mileage.

Regular serviced oil changes every 3000 miles are a great idea even though your vehicles maintenance guide may say 5000 or 7500 miles. Changing dirty oil where viscosity has diminished can improve gas mileage up to 2%. Don't ignore a a dirty air filter changing an air filter can increase gas mileage by 10% and also improve performance and wear. Take extra garbage or items out of your car this extra weight can reduce gas mileage. If you tired of pouring your wallet or purse into your gas tank every time you stop at a gas station and drive a vehicle with a large engine consider downsizing and buy a used car that gets better miles per gallon.

If you have read reviews on cars and buying buying a hybrid is out of the question and you have followed your vehicles service schedule found in your owners manual what else can you do to improve gas mileage? You are probably already using fuel additives or gas mileage charts to reduce miles and you know an electric hybrid is not cost effective. Gas additives can help keep your injectors and engine clean helping with gas mileage. Many fuel savings devices do not work but some do but it is tough to avoid the scams.

One such device that is gaining in notoriety online an in the news is a HHO gas generator. HHO gas can be generated from an HHO cell and mixed with your current gas or diesel just before you intake manifold giving you a noticeable increase in gas mileage. A HHO fuel cell or HHO car kit can be constructed at home from plans with many common items. A HHO cell is small enough to fit under the hood of most cars and trucks and if more than one cell may be needed it is not often and issue it is not uncommon to see 2 to 6 cells. This technology is still considered experimental and is sometimes referred to as hydrogen on demand. HHO gas car kits are helping people just like you improve gas mileage up to 40% and in some cases more. Some people have scoffed at the introduction of HHO or browns gas as a supplement but many forget the vehicles with propane conversion kits that were introduced in the past that still work well. Other benefits are improved performance and emissions and quieter smoother running engine.

Fuel Saving Tips For US Car Hire by Fiona Hiliard

With fuel prices at an all time high and the demand for cheap Florida holidays rocketing, US car hire customers will be looking for the most fuel-efficient ways to get them to their sunny destination this summer.

The convenient nature of the on-site petrol pump is one of the main reasons why so many car hire customers choose to fill-up their tank at their pick-up garage rather than at the local petrol station located just around the corner. However, prominent travel experts are advising travellers to think twice about purchasing petrol at the point of collection. Bruce Williams, a contributor to US publication Springfield Business Journal recently reported on a reader who wondered whether it was more expensive to fill up their rental car at their car hire outlet, prior to driving off or at a local petrol station.

Williams came to the conclusion that purchasing petrol from a rental company is not a good idea in many cases, since most car hire companies sell the same petrol that is available at any station but at a much higher price than usual. Williams also recognizes that the vast majority of car renters will leave at least a few gallons of gasoline in the car's tank when the vehicle is returned. He says purchasing over-priced fuel from rental firm is less worth it for those who do not intend to drive long distances. Williams suggests that those planning to go on longer road trips should find filling up at a rental outlet to be the most sensible option, especially if the driver believes that they will use the complete tank of gas and if there is the possibility that petrol stations may be few and far between on off-the beaten track routes.

Continuing on the 'more drive for your dollar' theme, the following is a list of eight of the world's most cost-effective and fuel-efficient cars.

The world's most fuel-efficient cars:

1. Honda Civic GX

The Honda Civic GX is fueled by compressed natural gas and travel about 170 miles on one fill up.

2. Toyota Prius

The Toyota Prius is the vehicle of choice of the carbon footprint conscience set. Deceptively spacious, the original eco car qualifies as a mid-sized sedan.

3. Honda Civic Hybrid

The Civic Hybrid uses electric motors to help power its 1.3 litre engine.

4. Toyota Camry Hybrid

A battery pack is the key to the Camry's fuel efficiency

5. Nissan Altima Hybrid

The Nissan Altima Hybrid is a product of the same hybrid technology as the Toyota Camry Hybrid.

6. Ford Escape Hybrid

This spacious four-wheel drive is the most fuel efficient SUV of its kind.

7. Smart For Two

This nifty little model more than makes up for its lack of legroom by leading the field in terms of fuel efficiency. The Smart For Two's small 1.0 three-cylinder engine ensures that a little petrol goes a long way.

8. Toyota Yaris

Toyota's budget offering fills a money-saving role that used to be taken up by the Corolla and offers excellent value for money.

Hydrogen Powered Engines " Available For Your Car Today by GARKO NOVIS

Hydrogen is broadly viewed by people, as well as, by many large corporations, as acure-all to smog, global warming and shrinking petroleum supplies. (Incidentally, the whole “peak oil” scare is just that… a scare with no substance. There are no diminishing petroleum supplies and the whole “peak oil” thing is a hoax) Even Bush has spoken using great superlatives about the potentials for hydrogen. In his 2003 State of the Union Address he rhapsodized, "The first vehicle driven by a child born today could be fueled by hydrogen and pollution free." What is most amazing of that assertion though, is that the first automobile ever invented, two centuries ago was fueled by hydrogen and caused no smog! !! Hydrogen is doesn’t create energy it only carries it and it must be produced from a an initial source of energy, such as electricity, natural gas, coal, nuclear fuel, wind or solar radiation. But the best solution for generating hydrogen is by use of electrolysis. A Hydrogen On Demand setup! This kind of a system is very simple and direct. It uses an electrolyzer, through which a tiny electrical impulse is passed through water, which simply splits the water into hydrogen and oxygen. Petroleum engineers predict that worldwide petroleum availability will hit its peak in 10 to 30 years. It’s not true. But even if it was true, we can stretch the availability of oil indefinitely by doing a couple of different things. Primary is to do an installation in your current car engine of a converter to enable your vehicle to run on a combination of gas and hydrogen. Recently Bush has been moaning about how we are “addicted to oil”, I am positive he is referring to himself only. He is addicted to having his decision process fixated on the greatest good of his Big Oil company exec pals who are some of the most callous and dishonest greedy robber barons that anyone ever had anything to do with. When predicts for us that perhaps in the future we will drive cars that are powered on hydrogen look him squarely in the television screen and shout back “thanks for thinking of me, bro, but we have it here today! Didn’t you know?” If not a fully hydrogen engine operating on hydrogen on its own then at least a hybrid. That exists in thousands of American cars today and in other countries too and you can install it in your vehicle in the next day or two. Would you like me to tell you how? WATER4GAS is offering information for a nominal fee which consumers can use at home to create a small gizmo which instills hydrogen into the fuel/air mixture that their automobile runs on. What this does is make bite sized particles out of the particles that the system burns as fuel. So it is able to use much more of the fuel. With WATER4GAS you can reasonably expect to reduce your gasoline consumption by thirty to fifty percent or even more. Those particles must have been pretty "blankin'" huge in some engines before. But with W4G they are made consumable so you can reduce your gasoline consumption. It also helps make emissions significantly cleaner. This information has been purchased by over 9000 car owners already and the percentage of happy customers is about 99%! So how about you?

Electric Car Advocates Accuse California Board Of Trying To Kill The Electric Car by GARKO NOVIS

EV (Electric Vehicle) advocates assert that the California Air Resources Board is seeking to crush the electric car - again. There is a proposal presently under review before the Air Resources Board state regulators would slice - from seventyfive thousand to as few as twenty seven thousand and five hundred - the number of zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) automakers must make between 2012 and 2017. If this proposal passes, the big car manufacturers could place fewer than 2,500 non-polluting cars on the road between now and 2012. That is just three hundred more than Tesla Motors expects to produce in the next two. "That's disgusting," says Zan Dubin Scott of Plug In America an EV advocacy group. "That is a kidney punch to the ZEV program." California adopted the requirement in 1990 to dictate how many emissions-free vehicles car manufacturers must produce. The board has updated it four times, the last time being 4 years ago " at which time it substantially slashed the amount of ZEVs that would be out on the road. EV advocates slammed the board for killing the electric car and now they say that they are trying to do it once again. The board responded that it remains determined to convert to pollution-free autmobiles but they say the technology isn’t there yet. They prefer to let the car manufacturing corporations push plug-in hybrids, compressed natural gas automobiles and other green tech while it completes research on batteries and hydrogen fuel cells. Regulators assert the ultimate goal doesn't change - beginning in 2018, 16 percent of vehicles sold in California must be zero emissions vehicles. Emphasizing plug-in hybrids and other alternative tech partial zero emission vehicles" at the present time allows California to begin addressing reversing climate change while still at the same time pressuring car manufacturing companies to devise non-polluting vehicles. "It's about lessening emissions and getting more vehicles out on the road that emit less toxic emissions," says board spokesman Leo Kay. "Our ultimate goal is the viewpoint that 100% zero emission vehicles are the future for California. It's only a matter of how we get there and giving the car manufacturing companies some flexibility." No one argues plug-in hybrids are a big step in the right direction. But ZEV advocates insist they shouldn't come at the expense of pollution-free electric and fuel cell cars. "They should be forwarding both," says Spencer Quong of the Union of Concerned Scientists Only by doing that can California meet its stated objective of lessening greenhouse gas emissions to eighty percent of 1990 level by 2050. Achieving that target requires putting 379,000 zero emission vehicles on the road by 2020, Quong says. In my own opinion, with the information I have and I will show you how to access I see the whole contentious situation is a comedy due to a number of factors… 1. hybrid electric vehicles are a waste of a substantial amount of money and they have no advantage for the planet when they are driven on the highways only city driving 2. with the simple but potent answers that we make available at Water4Gas the whole discussion is moot. We already have the solution to the whole mess, we just need is to move it out onto more highly visible distribution channels. WATER4GAS is offering information at a low price which folks can use at home to put together a small gizmo which instills hydrogen into the gasoline/air mixture that their car runs on. The process makes bite sized particles out of the ones that the system uses as fuel. So the engine is able to use much more of the gasoline. GARKO recommends hybrid engines as the best solution for money saver on gas and as an alternative in beating fuel prices

A Cleaner Environment With Alternative Fuel Cars by GARKO NOVIS

Considering the truth that many of the fuel sources available across the globe are limited and that the consumption of fuel is at all time highs, it is that much more urgent for experts to start designing more and more vehicles which operate on 'alternative fuel'. Gas prices are going up higher and faster thanever before. If this trend keeps on going, a day will emerge when we would be left with no oil in the world. The possible solutions offered by hybrid vehicles is attracting the interest of international car and truck manufacturers. These vehicles don't use fossil based fuels like oil and diesel for propulsion. Another example of this kind of automobile which made its way to the consumer markets years ago is the car that runs on electricity. Many nations across the globe have begun to replace their diesel and petrol fueled vehicles with hybrid vehicles. This as a result of the increasing awareness of greater numbers of people of the need for environment preservation and energy conservation. And so automobiles that utilize alternate fuels are increasingly popular worldwide. Bio-diesel is one alternative fuel that is available to be used to run automobiles as well as larger vehicles. These new cleaner and saner fuels have many benefits over traditional energy sources such as petrol and diesel. Green car manufacturing is now occurring internationally by automotive companies. Cars which utilize solar cells, biodiesel or electricity are called green cars. These green cars will take on more and more of the market, especially where people everywhere are worried about smog, climate change and worsening pollution. Tests have shown that these green cars or environmentally friendly vehicles have better MPG and consume smaller quantities of cleaner fuel than traditional automobiles which are powered by diesel or gas. It is a fact that at the current time energy alternative fuel vehicles are more expensive, but that is a situation that will be remedied if many folks start purchasing these vehicles. Keep in mind that green cars or alternative fuel vehicles have no toxic emissions whatsoever. These vehicles safeguard the environment. Air pollution is found to cause a number of respiratory diseases. Harmful gases from car emissions can also cause infections, allergic conditions and many other diseases. Ultimately, the best solution right now in all aspects is Water4Gas. If the Water4Gas influence on your engine can help it twice the amount of fuel and waste much less pollutants due to a cleaner burn ... that's a great benefit! Another benefit is reduced engine temperature " it safeguards your environment and your car or truck's engine . You will experience a smoother, quieter and much smoother engine & gearshifts. and more... WATER4GAS is providing information at a low price which consumers can use at home to create a small device which instills hydrogen into the fuel/air mixture that their vehicle runs on. The process makes smaller particles out of the ones that the system burns as fuel. Because of the smaller size the engine is able to use a lot more of it. With WATER4GAS you can reasonably expect to increase your fuel economy by 30-50% or significantly more. Those molecules "musta" been pretty "blankin'" big in some engines before. But with W4G they are made usable so you can increase your fuel economy. It also helps make emissions significantly cleaner. Will Electric Hybrid Vehicles Impact The Power Grids? by GARKO NOVIS

The answer is dependent upon when people decide to recharge their automobiles, basically. That is the pivotal factor. A new study from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) indicates a move to plug-ins could create a need for a large number of new resources for more power or or perhaps not " the pivotal factor is when the majority of the people will decide to recharge their cars. While some forecasts which surmise that there won’t be any new demand because of assumptions that owners will charge their automobiles only during night time hours, Stan Hadley, of ORNL’s Cooling, Heating and Power Technologies Program doesn’t share that same viewpoint. ”That calculation doesn’t necessarily factor in human nature,” said Hadley, who conducted the study. “Consumers’ predisposition will be to plug in whenever it is a good time for them to do so, rather than when utilities request them to. Utilities will need to create incentives to encourage folks to wait. There have also been devices that have been created such as ’smart’ chargers that determine the price of power, the current load on the grid and the predicted time when the car will need recharging next to optimize charging for both the owner and the utility.” ORNL ran several scenarios in their study, using an assumed market penetration of twentyfive percent for plug-in hybrids within the next 12 years. The worst case scenario calculated the resultant increase in demand if all plug-in owners decided to charge their automobiles at 5 PM " with this scenario up to 160 new large power plants which would be needed to provide the extra electricity. The optimum scenario assumed that everyone would charge their vehicless after 10 PM " which is when the average demand on the electrical system is at “low tide” and the fluctuating cost for electricity is at its least expensive. In this scenario, there was no additional power generation required. While neither scenario is realistic, the ORNL study arrived with the overall conclusion that with the application of incentives and inventions such as smart charges, the requirement for supplemental power capability can be minimized. Something which was not part of their study, though, was Water4Gas. And Water4Gas does not require any new demand on the electric grid, does not require any recharging or plugging in and is majorly less costly than buying an electric car and it can be easily installed into your current car! WATER4GAS is offering information at a low price which car owners can use at home to build a small device which instills hydrogen into the gasoline/air mixture that their car or truck runs on. The process makes smaller particles out of the ones that the system uses as fuel. Because of the smaller size it gets to use considerably more of it. By doing this you can reasonably expect to reduce your gasoline consumption by thirty to fifty percent or even more. Those particles must have been pretty "blankin'" big in some systems before. Get involved in knowing all there is to know about how to save on fuel consumption by making your car run on water

Harnessing The Power of Conversational Hypnosis by Shane Wilson

In your dealings in life you may have noticed how certain individuals have the ability to influence others easily. What you may not know is that they are using a special technique known as conversational hypnosis. By using this hypnosis technique, they can control a conversation in such a way that they lead a person along and manipulate their thought process. This is a powerful ability that some people just seem to have naturally.

Conversational hypnosis and covert hypnosis are usually used interchangebly by some. The reason for this is that the individual that is being led along is usually unaware that they are being hypnotized. In some cases, a person becomes aware that the individual they are speaking with is trying to direct them with covert techniques and thus becomes noneffective. If you can learn to master this technique, however, it can be used as a powerful tool for influencing others in both business and your personal life.

There are some basic steps that one needs to take if they are going to use conversational hypnosis. For starters we need to take into account that it is almost impossible to use this method on someone with which you have just met without warming them up a bit first. Warming someone up or building rapport is actually the first step in this process and helps you to build trust with the individual. Don't be lead to believe that you have to know someone for months or years though. If you can connect with an individual mentally they will begin to develop trust on their own. This can be done in a number of different ways.

One of the easiest ways to develop a rapport with someone is to be understanding and agreeable with them. This can be done by letting the individual understand that you agree with everything they are confiding in you. This has to be natural as to not raise any suspicions and blow your cover. A good example of this would be if the individual you are conversing with mentions that they do not like hybrid cars. Coming into anothers way of thinking can be done by agreeing with them that hybrid cars are not something you seek out either.

The second step of the conversational hypnosis process is where you actually begin to influence the individual you are speaking with. This can be done by either nudging them or gently guiding them in the direction you want them to go. If you have done step one effectively, the individual will be more apt to allow you to lead them in the direction that suits you. You may have noticed that people who are in sales have developed this technique because it is a very effective way of landing a sale from a cold lead. Once you master this technique for yourself, you will be surprised at how you can have people literally eating out of the palm of your hand.
